SaveOn, a leading provider of print and digital coupons and marketing solutions, aimed to accelerate market expansion, sales, and revenue growth after acquiring smaller competitors and partnering with a top media company. With a new logo and positioning statement, “Live Life for Less,” SaveOn sought Symphonize’s help to redesign its flagship site, SaveOn.com, retaining the extensive existing content and revamping the backend infrastructure for increased stability and cybersecurity.

Through our discovery process, we identified key objectives for the redesign: providing more value to SaveOn’s business customers, streamlining the digital coupon redemption workflow for businesses and shoppers, enhancing the shopper experience across devices, and increasing signups and memberships. Our team of strategists, designers, and engineers collaborated to reimagine the user experience and deliver the end-to-end engineering required for the new SaveOn.com.

The project outcomes included extending SaveOn’s new logo into a complete visual language, designing shopper workflows for searching, filtering, saving, and redeeming coupons, and creating a unique experience for signed-in members. We also restructured content to better showcase SaveOn’s value proposition to businesses, converted the legacy codebase to a modern architecture, and audited site performance to implement significant improvements. The cloud infrastructure was rearchitected to enhance security and performance, reducing cloud service costs. Additionally, we improved SEO throughout the site to make SaveOn easier to find, helping to grow membership and sales revenue.

The resulting website and backend infrastructure deliver greater value to SaveOn’s merchant and shopper stakeholders, creating a fresh impression of the SaveOn brand while enhancing performance and security at lower operating costs. This new platform provides an outstanding experience for visitors and positions SaveOn to execute a broader digital vision for the future.
